It Will Be Provided
We as human beings has our own needs and wants, we have desire deep within us for material things, riches, properties and so on.
We ask God thru prayer that he provide all we want, but the problem is not with asking; the real problem lies in our motives and the way we ask. We should learn the difference between what we truly need against our wants, God promises to provide our needs and not our wants.
And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 CSB 17
Therefore I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25 CSB 17
So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear? For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. Matthew 6:31-32 CSB 17
In the above scriptures it is very clear that God knows all our needs.
But what the scriptures says is that we should put God and His kingdom first above all else Matthew 6:33 CSB 17. If we make God the priority, surrendering the totality of our life to him then all we need shall be added unto us.
For our daily life let us meditate on this passage where we are given the example of Abraham, God asks Abraham to offer his one and only son as a burnt offering. God did not allow Abraham to slaughter his son, but instead provided a sacrifice a lamb. IT WILL BE PROVIDED.
Genesis 22:1-19 CSB 17.
I trust you faithful God for all my needs, you see how much I love you. I know according to your words that IT WILL BE PROVIDED, I will praise and worship your wonderful name as long as I live. Thank you and may your Holy Spirit bless me and make me a blessing to your children in Jesus name. Amen.
